Let me start with the fact that I don't play golf. My dad has been trying to teach me for 30 years. He is a brilliant golfer but every time I hit the ball it doesn't go straight. You see hitting a golf ball isn't about how hard you hit it but rather how you hit it. I believe walking with God is not all that different. God didn't design us to 'try harder' but rather 'train better'. I sense that God wants me to go on a spiritual journey, a new way to hit 'the ball'. Is that you? As we head into Easter I desire to experience God differently and I know it begins with this truth...
#1 Only God can change a heart.
I desire God to change my heart, how about you?

Yeah, it is like golf. Golfers always talk about how they "follow through" on the swing, how their club face meets the ball and makes a good connection. I think of our spiritual back swing as the way we live/function when we're not at church, including our time spent in God's Word and in prayer. If that back swing is done well, we can meet our challenges and tests squarely, and then follow through well. It's like that.
